Party Planning And Hosting
It was my father’s 50th birthday, and we decided to run the show not realizing that party planning and hosting entails lots of work. I found myself overwhelmed and tired from running here and there; making sure that things like venue, invitations, guests food etc were taken care of. What I learned that party planning need not be tedious if certain tasks are delegated relieving one from stress and panic. If only, I had enlisted the help of a Party Coordinator would I be less stressed and less exhausted.
If you’ve hosted parties before, you may have been in this situation: As you cooked the food, cleaned the house, dressed up, cleaned up spills and messes, called for food delivery because you ran out of food, and tried to prevent other party disasters from happening, you were thinking, “Hosting this party is a bad, bad decision!” Learn from those horrible party planning and hosting experiences. The next time you’re hosting another party, call a Party Coordinator. While it will cost more than what you spent on your last party, hiring a Party Coordinator has some benefits.
Some Party Coordinators get a percentage of the overall expenses as their professional fee. They use an events budget planner for this. Every single detail that you will need in your party is the events budget planner, including permit/license fee for the event and even labor, bartender fees, linens and china. If you are having a presentation at the party, your planner will have it all prepared from television monitors to laser pointers.
There are parties that require a long time of planning. Organizing is another story. Some parties also require guests to RSVP because of limited seating or food orders. Doing these, plus following up orders and sending invitations are sure to make you nuts. Asking assistance from an expert — the Party Coordinator — will make your party disaster- and worry-free.
A Party Coordinator will also handle your guests’ parking. Some event coordinators will even a hire valet service so your guests can enjoy the party as soon as they arrive. This valet service is very convenient too after all the dancing and partying because your guest won’t have to walk long distances in order to get into their cars. Some party planners will even arrange carpools for guests who’ve had too much to drink and cannot drive anymore.
A Party Coordinator will also handle the post-party mess. You no longer have to worry about cleaning up. You will see a team scattered on the grounds or in your party venue in search of every bit of trash so that the place will be once again ready for another party. The next time you decide to have a party, keep in mind that having a Party Coordinator working behind the scenes will make your life less stressful and your party a success.
