Parties are easy to plan but thinking up drinks to serve usually presents a challenge. The idea of cocktail drinks sounds appealing yet, at the same time you want to accommodate all your guest by serving non alcoholic beverages. Although some people sometimes show up with a gift for the host or hostess (bottle of wine), you should not rely on such kind gestures. What you need a two huge bowls . One to satisfy the needs of those who consume liquor and the other for non-alcoholics.
The decision to serve wine means your planning has to be modified to provide at least two drinks for each guest every hour. That would mean about 20 wine bottles with about 6-7 servings for each guest. Always have enough wine on hand, and in addition to wine, consider serving other mixed drinks like kool aid or ice tea so that you do not run out of drinks.
Don’t limit your self to just one glass per person as guest usually like a fresh glass so have extra clean glasses on hand. Don’t forget to stock up on ice for your beverages. Many people like their drinks cold.
